Free Portraits
Interested in having your portrait taken while in your country-themed outfit while attending the Marin Senior Fair? Would you like to carry home a free photography picture of you with your friends and family taken by some of the current members of the Marin Photography Club?
Stop by and visit the Marin Photography Club in booths 101 and 102 to have your portrait taken and printed out, along with a photography print print to take home — all facilitated by the volunteer members of the Club (as long as supplies last!). You will find prints of photography subjects such as creativity, macro, travel, journalism, nature, and landscape.
About the Marin Photography Club
Founded in 1948, the Marin Photography Club (MPC) celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2023! This group of passionate photographers have been gathering together all those years to share knowledge and friendship…creating opportunities to share work in both a competitive spirit, along with the comradery of online gatherings with each other to explore the techniques and philosophy of photography in a comfortable environment.
Within the club environment, there are numerous events, including field trips to locations around the Bay Area, educational nights and special interest group meetings that focus on certain styles of photography such as macro, landscape and still life, to name a few.
MPC is one of 17 Bay Area camera clubs participating in the Northern California Council of Camera Clubs (N4C), a cooperative organization formed in 1952 to allow all clubs to compete with each other’s works...sharing additional expertise and passion within the photographic industry.
Stop by our booth, say hello, get your portrait taken, and bring home a lasting picture of you and or your family. If you have a camera that you are struggling with, bring it along and ask of the volunteers in the booth to help review with you.
See you there!
