The Marin Home Care Association is a professional group of Licensed Home Care, Home Health and Hospice Organizations that work to educate consumers and referrals sources about the benefits of using licensed care. Just as patients require expert care within acute and rehab settings, it is equally critical to maintain that professional standard at home. These organizations take on all employer responsibilities, costs and liability. Our mission is to provide consumers with convenience and peace of mind by assisting them in finding a licensed home care provider that will best meet their needs. The HMCA lists only CA state licensed home care organizations, home health agencies, and hospices. Our members are held to highest legal standards of accountability and their employees/caregivers are rigorously screened and subject to agency supervision and CA State oversight.
