Sequoia Living is a Bay Area nonprofit that provides stimulating, joyful living environments and services that enrich the lives of older adults from all economic backgrounds. Since 1958, our mission has been to provide active retirement communities and supportive services that foster connection, joy, and lifelong growth.

Each year, more than 7,000 older adults benefit from a full continuum of offerings, including four life plan communities, affordable housing, senior centers, and community-based programs.

Life plan communities in San Francisco, Portola Valley, Walnut Creek, and Marin offer maintenance-free living, personalized care when needed, and opportunities to Never Stop Growing.

Beyond the communities, senior centers and programs, including Senior Services for Northern California, Empowering Children Bay Area, and Intergenerational programs, connect generations and build stronger communities.
